Shows and Moans

First, let’s get the moans out of the way.

The winter has been long and very cold and the spring, such as it is, hasn’t been much better. As a result we are a month or six weeks behind where we would normally be at this time of year. We are still in the middle of potting up plants that would usually have been spreading their roots in bigger pots by mid-February and have unfortunately been fending off potential customers until things are ready. Very frustrating for both them and us. A few years ago we had a very hot April which turned out to be the best month for sales in that whole season! Not in 2010, we think. Looks like it will be show season before we really get started.

The new website is still not up and running despite being 99% sorted. It’s that last little technical 1% that is holding things up. But, fingers crossed, it should be long now.
